Information & Rules
- Eligibility: The competition is open to amateur bakers of all ages. Professional bakers or those working in a professional baking environment are not eligible.

Categories: Entries must fall into one of the following five categories:
- Best Cake (any type or flavour)
- Best Bread Product (any type, including loaves, rolls, etc.)
- Best Quiche/Tart (either sweet or savoury)
- Best Young Baker Under 8 years old (cake of any type or flavour)
- Best Young Baker 8 - 16 years old (cake of any type or flavour)

Submission Guidelines:
- Each participant may enter one item per category.
- Entries must be homemade and baked by the entrant.
- Store-bought mixes or pre-made dough are not allowed.
- Entries must be presented on a disposable plate or tray, clearly labelled underneath with the entrant's name and category, plus age if 15 or under.
- Entries need to be delivered to Great Rissington Club by 10.45am on Saturday the 13th September 2025 for Judging.

Judging Criteria:
- Taste (40%)
- Appearance and Presentation (30%)
- Originality and Creativity (20%)
- Texture and Consistency (10%)
- Entry Fee: There is a nominal £1 entry fee to cover administrative costs.
- Deadline: All entries must be submitted by the specified time on the day of the competition. Late entries will not be accepted.
- Prizes: Winners in each category will be awarded a prize, with special recognition for the Best in Show.
- Health and Safety: All entries must adhere to standard food safety guidelines. Any entries found to be in violation may be disqualified.
- Rights: By entering the competition, participants grant RissiFest the right to use images of their entries for promotional purposes.
- Disqualification: Failure to adhere to these rules may result in disqualification from the competition.
- Decisions Final: The judges' decisions are final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the judging process.
- Responsibility: RissiFest and its organizers are not responsible for any damage, loss, or injury that may occur during the preparation or transportation of the entries.
