The competition rules for the RissiFest Art and Craft Competition
- Eligibility: Open to all, including amateurs and professionals, in separate divisions. Entrants under 18 must have parental consent.
- Submission Guidelines:
- Entries must be original works created by the entrant.
- Entries must be submitted with the appropriate forms, clearly marked with the entrant's name, category and age if under 12.
- Size and weight restrictions may apply, depending on the category.
- Entries need to be delivered to Great Rissington Club by 10:45am on Saturday the 13th September 2025 for Judging.
- Judging Criteria:
- Creativity and Originality (40%)
- Technical Skill and Execution (30%)
- Visual Impact and Presentation (30%)
- Entry Fee: There is a nominal £1 entry fee to cover administrative costs.
- Deadline: Entries must be submitted by the specified date prior to the event. Late entries will not be accepted.
- Certificates: Certificates: Certificates will be awarded for the top 3 entries in each category.
- Health and Safety: Entrants must comply with all applicable health and safety regulations, particularly in categories involving potentially hazardous materials.
- Rights: Entrants grant RissiFest the right to use images of their entries for promotional purposes.
- Disqualification: Failure to comply with these rules may result in disqualification.
- Decisions Final: Judges' decisions are final and binding.
- Responsibility: RissiFest and its organizers are not responsible for any damage, loss, or injury that may occur during the preparation, display, or transportation of the entries.
- Retrieval: Entries may be removed after 5pm.
- Use of Recycled or Sustainable Materials: Encouraged where applicable.
- Accessibility and Inclusively: RissiFest strives to make the competition accessible to all, regardless of age, ability, or background.
